How to enrol
Step 1: Express Interest
Summerhill Park Kindergarten is a part of the Boroondara Kindergarten Central Registration Scheme (BKCRS).
Expressions of interest for enrollment through BKCRS are accepted year-round, starting from birth online at HERE.
Step 2: Enrol Online
If you haven't already expressed interest, you can register your child for kindergarten between May 1st and June 30th to secure a spot for the following year. Registrations made after June 30th may not guarantee your child a spot in the first round of offers.
Applications for our kindergarten can be made by completing the application form online at HERE. Further information on enrolment can be found on the Boroondara Kindergartens website.
Step 3: Accept your place
Offers of places in the 3 year old programs and the 4 year old programs will be made by BKCRS in late July in the year preceding attendance. Second round offers will be posted in August after first round offers. Subsequent offers will be made as positions become available.
Step 4: Orientation
Successful applicants will be invited to collected their Parent Information Packs and make an interview time for orientation sessions as part of the AGM in November. This pack contains forms that must be completed prior to attending the first day of orientation.
Please note: under the proposed State Government ‘No Jab, No Play’ legislation coming into effect on 1 January 2016 all parents/guardians seeking to enrol their child in an early childhood service in Victoria will be required to provide evidence that the child is immunised appropriately or have a medical exemption.
